When you hear the word “entrepreneur,” visualize a person…what do they look like?
Is the entrepreneur a man? A decade or two ago entrepreneurship had been a male-dominated pursuit, and yet today many of the most memorable and inspirational entrepreneurs are women. Female entrepreneurs are on the rise throughout the world and are building world-class businesses from innovative for-profit companies to non-profit organizations.
The millions of female-run enterprises, is absolutely changing the way we live. So to celebrate the last day of Womens’ History Month I would like to have you think of the famous women entrepreneurs you know and look at their successes. How did they achieve success? What did it take?

What new insight can we get from their experiences to help us overcome obstacles in our everyday life? Obstacles like balancing family- and work life; overcoming the prejudices that exist for women still today.
